Brian Welch, CPA
FOUNDER
Brian Welch has an extensive background in accounting and taxation, with over three decades of professional experience.
Since 1997, he has been the Managing Member of Welch & Associates, L.L.C. in Kansas City, Missouri, where Mr. Welch leads strategic operations and provides expert financial guidance.
Before this role, he served as a Manager at Ralph C. Johnson and Company, P.C., he honed his expertise as a Senior Tax Analyst at Hallmark Cards, Incorporated from 1990 to 1996.
Brian Welch’s career began at Arthur Andersen & Company in St. Louis, Missouri, where he gained foundational experience as a Tax Staff Accountant.
As a certified public accountant licensed in Missouri, Brian is actively involved in professional and civic organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also served in leadership roles as treasurer for both the Kansas City Public School Retirement System and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Holding both a Master of Accountancy in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Brian Welch combines academic excellence with a longstanding commitment to community and professional service

Aamir Siddiqui, CPA
SENIOR AUDIT MANAGER
Aamir joined the Firm in August 2008 and has over twenty years of professional accounting and auditing experience; two years with an international accounting firm, nine years in corporate accounting departments at international companies.
His experience with the Firm includes developing audit plans, performing audit fieldwork and supervising the work of assistants. He is also responsible for researching complex accounting, reporting, and auditing issues.
Aamir earned a Master of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Karachi and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the Government Premier College in Pakistan. He received a permit to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in 2004.

Rashanda Edwards
DIRECTOR OF ASSURANCE SERVICES
Rashanda joined the Firm in May 2015 and has over 16 years of professional auditing, accounting, and tax experience; 13 years with a Fortune 500 company and the last 7 years with the Firm.
Her experience with the Firm includes preparation of business, non-profit and individual tax returns and conducting tax research. She is also responsible for developing compliance audit plans, performing financial and compliance audit fieldwork, supervising the work of assistants, and monitoring all audit engagements.
Rashanda earned a Master of Business Administration from Baker University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Missouri State University.

Jennifer Jester, CPA
ASSURANCE MANAGER
Jennifer originally joined the firm in January of 2009 and returned to the firm in August of 2017. Jennifer has over 14 years of professional auditing, accounting, and tax experience: two years in accounting at an international private company and 12 years in public accounting, including 9 years with the Firm.
Her experience with the Firm includes developing audit plans, performing audit fieldwork and supervising the work of assistants. Industries Jennifer works with include non-profit organizations, for-profit businesses, and employee benefit plans. As a part of our client accounting services practice, she also assists clients with general ledger maintenance, grant administration, financial reporting, and audit administration.
Jennifer Earned a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She received a permit to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in 2010.
